A Rainy Day

Yesterday, it was raining cats and dogs!
To befool, playfully I asked the rain: “Rain, how old are you”?
The rain gave me a spontaneous but beautiful answer: “Mr. Curious, if you’re soaking and running happily in the rain, I’m 10 years old”!
“My dear friend, If you’re writing a sweet poetry in the rain, I’m also sweet16 years old”!
“Hello dear, it seems you are not happy with my answers!
Ok, no problem, here is the right one:
If you’re feeling alone in the rain and waiting for someone you love, then I’m surely 18 years old”!
“Still not satisfied!
Do you love to have venture!
If you feel like trekking in the rain, hopefully I’m with you, to be your companion at 24 years of age”!
“Still not happy my friend!
Ok, if you crave roasted peanuts from a cart while getting wet in the rain, be sure I’m just 30 years old”!
“Mr. Foody, If you want to enjoy sharing lentil fritters with your friends while getting little bit wet in the rain, my age may be between 45 to 55 years”!

“Will you stop rain”:
I’m candid about my curiosity!
Myself being vulnerable to cold and tonsillitis, it’s better I don’t get wet in the rain! As my age is already above 60 years”!
I asked the rain, “Hey, stop all sort of enigmatic answering!
Tell me your real age, don’t get me into unnecessary conversations”!

The rain, with a sweet smile, answered:
“My age is as long as you enjoy the rain!
Wishing you a happy rainy day… 💃💃💃”
